Chong-A Hwang's painterly designs are a favorite for art quilts, like the Evening Glow Water Paint Texture Purple with gold metallic. Butterfly lovers can choose Wings Of Gold Metallic Butterflies, Felicity Gold Butterflies on Black or Rainbow Butterflies, and Kyoto Garden Metallic Ginkgo and Flutter Satin Texture Pastel make lovely blenders.

Novelty, Kids and Seasonal Prints

Timeless Treasures is famous for fun prints. Kids love Dinosaur Dig, Underwater Paradise Sea Horses, Farm Life Chickens, Goal! Soccer Balls and the cozy Twinkle Twinkle baby flannel. For Halloween fun, there is Wicked Willow Fifties Zombies. For the holidays, try Peace & Harmony Holy Night Sky, Christmas Sugar Skulls or Holiday Blenders Shimmer Green, and for patriotic quilts, Path to Freedom American Flags.

A panel plus two borders makes a quilt or wall hanging in a weekend. Novelty prints are perfect for pillowcases, kids' quilts, tote bags and gifts for anyone with a hobby, and a Tonga junior jelly roll turns into a quick table runner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fabric panel?
A panel is one large printed scene. Add borders to make a quilt top or wall hanging, or quilt it as is for a quick project.

What is a Tonga Treat junior jelly roll?
It is a smaller roll of precut batik strips, great for table runners, mini quilts and binding. See more in our jelly rolls collection.

What is XTonga wide backing?
It's a 106" wide batik made for quilt backs, so you can back a large quilt in one piece without seams.

Should I prewash batiks?
Many quilters prewash batiks in cold water with a color catcher sheet, since the deep dyes can release a little color in the first wash.

Can you order a Timeless Treasures collection you don't list?
Often, yes. Tell us the collection name and we'll check with our suppliers.
