Our store is in Fort Bend County, west of Houston near Sugar Land and Katy. From downtown, head west on I-69 / US-59 or the Westpark Tollway. Plan on roughly 35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic. Quilters visiting from out of town often come looking for designers and lines their local shop doesn't carry. Browse our Rifle Paper Co., Ruby Star Society, Sevenberry, Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink and Jinny Beyer collections, plus precuts, 108 inch wide backing, batiks and our remnants and end of bolt bargains. We also carry officially licensed Texas A&M and UT Longhorns fabric, a favorite Texas souvenir for quilters.
Quilting Around Fort Bend and West Houston
If you live nearby or are staying a few extra days, the area has an active quilting community. The Tri-County Quilt Guild meets at Copperfield Church on Highway 6 North, and the West Houston Quilt Guild serves quilters on the west side. Fort Bend County Libraries have also hosted casual sewing and crafting meetups at George Memorial Library in Richmond. Guild meeting times change, so check with each group before you go.
